We were commissioned by Blackbushe Airport in Surrey to produce concept designs and artist's impression imagery for the proposed expansion and re-development of this historic airport.

Very early stage, area and massing studies had already been carried out by planners but this was not enough to show authorities or to get potential investors excited enough to make things progress. Something more visual was required to show how the future expansion could possibly look once completed and this is where we stepped in.

The goal of our imagery was to marry the tradition and history of the airport along with the vision for future expansion and everyday operations.

One of the airports key uses is it’s charter jet and helicopter operations and having imagery early on allowed the airport to approach new clients and get them on board long before any construction was underway, thus eliminating huge risks and keeping costs down.
